Useful information
The Faction Studio Series represents the space where creativity flourishes — where inspired vision takes tangible form. Crafted in close collaboration with our top athletes, the Studio Series comprises a family of premium twin-tips that blend high-speed, all-mountain freeski performance with free-flowing, nimble freestyle spirit, emphasizing pure self-expression on snow. Because your inventiveness is ever-evolving from season to season, the skis are built to last, with reinforced wood cores, stomp pads for heavy landings; carbon for lightweight rigidity; and 7mm XL sidewalls. Power and play collide in the Studio – step inside and start creating.
- Anti-Chip Micro Cap
- Micro-cap construction is a hybrid of a premium, sandwich sidewall construction fused with a lightweight, durable cap construction. With micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides awesome edge hold and torsional stability while the ski’s topsheet wraps around and meets the sidewall, protecting the fragile joint that can be prone to chipping.
- Boat Flex
- Heavy rocker is best complemented by solid, stiffer tips and tails, to help settle the skis and power through variable snow. Additionally, the stiff tips absorb more vibration when skiers touch down after going airborne. Just add a touch more flex underfoot and it allows the skis to load up and POP on request
