Our tuning service is the best in North America with our two Wintersteiger Discovery machines.

Our Laval shop has top-notch tuning equipment with the Wintersteiger Discovery 2, featuring edge tuning to the tenth of a degree. Whether you have rocker, V-shape, carving, all-mountain, or freeride skis or snowboards and splitboards, our shop will deliver the best service in the industry.

Today’s skis and boards are infinitely more complex than in the past, with various edge shapes and bases requiring precise sharpening to maintain their original performance.

A good tuning is essential for everyone, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or professional skier. Well-tuned skis improve your level because they do what you want when you want. We also restore badly damaged skis or boards.

BENEFITS

Skis are easier to turn. You have better edge grip on icy surfaces.

Correction of imperfections and scratches.

Computer-programmed sharpening and grinding. Your skis will be revamped to be as good as new, with guaranteed work. Ceramic discs ensure precise edge geometry. Edge surfaces are flat. Sharpness is consistent along the entire length of your skis and snowboards.

Bases with a good structure pattern adapted to local weather conditions.

Waxing with biodegradable wax that gives you better control over your skis without harming the environment.

Our machines eliminate the “railroad track effect” common to ordinary sharpening, which prevents your skis from turning and prematurely wears out your edges and bases.

Regular tuning increases your gear’s lifespan. Each service includes a safety check of the bindings.

High-Performance Tuning

Our shop offers the best preparation in the industry at unbeatable prices. We have prepared the Dufour-Lapointe sisters’ and Mikaël Kingsbury’s equipment.

This kind of tuning isn’t just for competitive skiers. It enhances the level of any skier or rider. We highly recommend it for skiers on long ski trips because the wax lasts longer. It’s also advisable for skiing in extremely warm or cold conditions requiring special waxes.

We offer infrared waxing with Wintersteiger’s Wax Future system at our Laval shop.
An infrared application lasts longer than traditional waxing with an iron. It allows the wax to saturate the base more fully for a more consistent glide.

Most World Cup teams use this system. We offer Olympic-level preparation at our Laval shop with Hertel White Gold wax, Toko Powder or Holmenkol Race Powder.

You’ll find a selection of waxes and maintenance products from Wintersteiger, Vola, Toko, Swix, Kuu, Beaver Wax and our exclusive brand Skituning.io.
Our Laval shop offers the widest selection of tools and wax in the industry.
