Customers come to the boutique to buy THE board that will give them the most me-mo-ra-ble season ever! Looking at the colorful selection of different shapes, they realise that they are all different. The camber, the curvature of the base when there is no pressure on it. Different cambers have different specific properties that will have an impact on your shedding experience.

Regular Camber

Traditionally snowboards have a raised camber. That is, the curve of the base is raised a few millimeter in the middle. This type of profile is more reactive and stores positive energy. Once that energy is released, it helps the rider keep an edge and pop into the air.

Reverse Camber - Rocker

The reverse-camber or the rocker has an inverted camber, that is, instead of curving up, it curves down, making the middle of the board the low point much like a banana. In fact, Lib Tech has named the rocker the banana technology! The rocker helps the rider turn without much effort. This profile is recommended for beginners and helps them progress from one season to another.

The riders who love to spend their days in the woods or in power are also good candidates for the rocker! It offers superb handling with a floating sensation while helping to guide the board with great ease through the trees.

Flat Camber

The flat camber is the most versatile of all. It’s an excellent compromise between the camber and the rocker. It floats in powder and offers great edge control on groomed trails. And, it’s affordable!

Hybrid - Rocker- Camber

The best of both worlds! The traditional and reverse combo gives you great handling and responsiveness. This versatile profile offers high performance on any terrain. The rocker-camber offers excellent edge control while enabling the rider to float over fresh powder.
