Skiing at Its Best

Based in skiing-mad Austria since 1955, Atomic makes ski gear that blends precision, stability, and cutting-edge technology. The lineup spans World Cup race machines such as the Redsters, playful freeride planks like the Bent Chetlers, lightweight touring setups, and classic and skate XC skis. Its roster of athletes—from Austrian legend Hermann Maier (The Herminator) and record-breaking Mikaela Shiffrin to freeride icon Chris Benchetler—plays a key role in pushing innovation forward, with insights from competition shaping every design. Technologies honed for elite competition trickle down into recreational and freeride models, giving all skiers access to the same stability, speed, and control trusted at the highest level. Atomic’s motto “We Are Skiing” is an invitation to everyone who loves the sport. It reflects a brand that lives and breathes skiing while driving performance forward for skiers of every style, background, and level.

Atomic’s Ski Lines

Race and Piste

Drawing on decades of the company’s World Cup heritage, Atomic’s Redster series delivers precision, stability, and speed for skiers who live for groomed slopes, whether they’re racers or carving enthusiasts. The Redster G models are tuned for long, fast GS-style turns, while the Redster S skis bring slalom agility to tight, quick arcs. The versatile Redster X shines across all turn shapes, and the Redster Q—with a slightly wider waist—handles changing conditions from morning corduroy to afternoon slush. All benefit from Revoshock technology, which turns vibration into forward drive. For women, the Cloud series offers the same uncompromising performance in a design tailored to female skiers, with Q versions adding extra waist width for versatility.

Freestyle and Freeride

The freeride- and freestyle-oriented Bent family brings Chris Benchetler’s surf-inspired creativity to every corner of the mountain. Its name evokes Benchetler himself and the unconventional, “bent” approach that has defined his skiing and the namesake skis. The flagship ski of this line is the iconic Bent Chetler 120—a legendary big-mountain powder ski that keeps evolving with each season. The latest version adds a new poplar Light Woodcore, next-generation HRZN 3D tips and tails for even more float and a lower-impact construction that cuts material-related CO₂ emissions by 13% compared with the previous model. Playful yet powerful, it’s built for deep snow, huge lines, and uncanny improvisation. Narrower Bent models, such as the Bent 100, 90, and 85, carry the same spirit into more versatile widths, making them ideal for everything from sidecountry laps to snow park sessions.

All-Mountain

The Maverick and Maven series are designed for the full range of North American terrain. They’re Atomic’s quiver-of-one all-mountain skis. Developed and tested with everyday skiers in every kind of snow—from windblown hardpack to deep powder—they balance stability, flex, and dynamism. The unisex Maverick series covers widths from the versatile 88 Ti to the big pow day 115 CTi, while the women’s Maven lineup includes models such as the 103 CTi and 86 C. These skis are all about having fun everywhere you roam on the mountain.

Alpine Touring (AT)
Handcrafted in Austria, Atomic’s Backland series covers the full spectrum of touring, from fast-and-light fitness laps at the resort to all-round versatility and serious freeride missions. The ultralight Backland 62 UL Vert is built for speed on the skin track and efficiency on long ascents, while the Backland 109 brings freeride performance to deep backcountry lines. In between, models like the Backland 85 and 95 balance a low weight with reliable downhill stability, making them outstanding all-round touring skis. Backland skis feature HRZN Tech Tips or the next-generation HRZN 3D design for added float in soft snow. All pair seamlessly with Atomic’s touring boots and bindings for a complete backcountry setup.

Atomic’s Key Ski Technologies

From the racecourse to the backcountry, Atomic is shaping the future of skiing with innovations that enhance performance, precision, and creativity. Every technology is developed and tested in the Austrian Alps with input from top athletes, then refined to deliver real benefits for skiers of all levels.

Revoshock

Originally developed for Atomic’s Redster race skis, Revoshock is a built-in suspension system that keeps skis stable, smooth, and in control at high speeds. A series of spring-steel modules, each encased in shock-absorbing elastomer, work together to block vibrations before they reach your boots and then transform that energy into forward acceleration as you exit the turn. The result is a fast, precise, confidence-inspiring ski. Revoshock comes in several variations: Revoshock S for maximum stability and acceleration in racing, Revoshock C for quick edge-to-edge performance, and Revoshock Light for effortless control and forgiveness.

HRZN Tech

HRZN Tech takes the concept of rocker in a new direction by adding a subtle, horizontal rocker across the ski tip and tail. Combined with ABS sidewalls, this design increases surface area by roughly 10% without adding weight. The result is more float in soft snow, greater stability in chop, and smoother tracking through variable conditions while keeping the ski light and quick to pivot.

HRZN 3D
HRZN 3D uses a distinct beveled shape at the tip to boost surface area, helping the ski float more easily in deep snow. The design adds extra lift and stability in soft conditions without increasing weight, giving freeride models, such as the Bent Chetler 120, a fun, surfy feel.

OMatic Construction
OMatic Construction is designed to give skis a consistent balance of stability and flex from tip to tail. By combining only the essential materials—precision-milled poplar wood, lightweight fibreglass, and strategic carbon inserts—it creates a core that’s light and energetic in all conditions. Used in all-mountain models like the Maverick and Maven, OMatic Construction keeps the ski responsive and stable whether you’re carving on firm snow or exploring off-piste.

Atomic Alpine Ski Boots

Atomic’s boot lineup covers every style of skiing. Redster boots deliver the precision, stiffness, and power transfer racers and carving enthusiasts demand. Hawx boots are all-mountain workhorses, with Ultra, Prime, and Magna fits to match different foot shapes. For skiers who split time between the resort and the backcountry, the hybrid Hawx XTD models combine alpine performance with a walk mode and tech fittings for touring. Backland boots are specifically designed for alpine touring, prioritizing lightness, range of motion, and efficiency on the climb. Across the lineup, features like Memory Fit heat-mouldable shells, Mimic liners, and Prolite construction ensure a personalized fit and consistent performance.

Atomic Cross-Country Skis

Atomic’s cross-country line includes classic and skating cross-country skis for everything from World Cup performance to relaxed weekend outings. Classic models emphasize speed, stability, and control, with options that use skins or fish scales for hassle-free kick and glide. Skating skis feature the latest race-proven designs, including the Gen S platform for exceptional glide and maximum speed.
