TwinLoc 2

This technology allows riders to shift between three suspension travel and geometry settings based on the terrain with a cockpit-mounted controller. Descend mode fully opens the front and rear shocks for maximum travel to absorb vibrations and bumps as you rip downhill. Traction control mode limits rear travel to handle rolling terrain that requires both pedalling power and some shock absorption. As the name suggests, lockout mode locks out the fork and rear shock for the most efficient power transfer on less technical climbs and forest roads.

Scott mountain bike shoes feature Sticki Rubber outsoles. They provide outstanding grip on rocks and roots when you need to dismount to walk or run.

HMF Carbon Fibre

Scott’s engineers developed an optimal orientation and sizing in the carbon fibre layup to maximize strength and keep the frame weight low. HMF (high modulus fibre) carbon fibre delivers the perfect blend of stiffness and compliance for smooth, responsive riding.

Integrated Suspension

Integrated suspension places the rear shock inside the frame, creating a sleek, minimalist look and improved aerodynamics. It also minimizes lateral movement during compression for more efficient power transfer. Larger pivot bearings and a refined linkage system make the suspension smoother and more responsive. The shock placement lowers the bike’s centre of gravity, enhancing stability and handling.

Sustainability: Re-Source Program

Their Re-Source program is built around making smarter material choices—from recycled plastics to bio-based fibres, such as castor bean oil.
