History

Rossignol is a ski brand that has truly stood the test of time. Abel Rossignol founded the company in Voiron, Isère in 1907, when he began making wooden skis for himself and fellow enthusiasts, laying the foundation for the iconic brand. The company would go on to define modern skiing. In the 1960s, it pioneered metal skis such as the Allais 60, which carried Jean Vuarnet to Olympic gold in 1960. It also helped popularize fibreglass laminate skis, such as the Strato, which sold over a million pairs.

Air Tip 2.0
