History

Rossignol is a ski brand that has truly stood the test of time. Abel Rossignol founded the company in Voiron, Isère in 1907, when he began making wooden skis for himself and fellow enthusiasts, laying the foundation for the iconic brand. The company would go on to define modern skiing. In the 1960s, it pioneered metal skis such as the Allais 60, which carried Jean Vuarnet to Olympic gold in 1960. It also helped popularize fibreglass laminate skis, such as the Strato, which sold over a million pairs.

Today, Rossignol continues to shape the future of snow sports with innovative skis, boots, snowboards, and cross-country gear, along with stylish winter clothing and urban outerwear. Air Tip 2.0
This unique tip design makes turning feel easier and more controlled by reducing swing weight and absorbing bumps where the ski first hits the snow. A dampening layer filters out chatter and vibrations, helping you stay balanced and channelling power more efficiently into every turn.

Line Control Technology (LCT)

Carbon Alloy Matrix

Spine Link Mechanism
The Spine Link Mechanism makes Rossignol’s Vizion alpine boots some of the easiest to get on and off. When locked, it holds the steel spine in place for full skiing support. When released, it opens the boot wide, so you can easily slide your foot in or out.

Generative Design Structure
Rossignol uses advanced computer modelling to shape the boot shell for the best balance of strength and weight. By thinning the shell walls where possible and reinforcing key zones, this design keeps the boot light and comfortable without sacrificing power and support.

Nomex® Honeycomb Core

Activ Cap
