The new Mantra 84 is made for sporty skiers who prefer groomed slopes but can’t deny their freeride affinity. With its narrow waist, the 84 takes cues from Völkl’s race line and excels in the turns with outstanding versatility and effortless handling on challenging slopes and variable snow conditions. This versatility is made possible in part by the proven Völkl 3D Radius Sidecut. With a short radius underfoot, it allows for easy compact turns on as well as off piste without being too aggressive. Longer radii at the tail and the tip allow excellent maneuverability at high speeds and for wide turns.

Information
Built for skiers who demand race-inspired precision, stability, and power, this ski combines advanced materials and innovative construction for exceptional on-piste performance. The Multilayer Woodcore blends dense wood along the sidewalls with lighter wood at the center, delivering outstanding edge grip, efficient power transmission, and agile handling while reducing overall weight.
The Tailored Titanal Frame enhances stability and control by adapting the amount of Titanal to each ski length. Longer sizes provide greater stiffness, damping, and high-speed confidence, while shorter lengths offer increased agility and easier maneuverability. This custom approach ensures optimal performance for skiers of different sizes and skill levels.
Featuring 3D Radius Sidecut technology, the ski combines a shorter radius underfoot with longer radii in the tip and tail. The result is effortless turn initiation, smooth short-radius turns, excellent versatility, and outstanding stability at higher speeds.
Full ABS Sidewalls maximize edge hold and provide direct energy transfer from skier to snow, while the high-density P-Tex 2100 sintered base delivers exceptional glide, durability, and long-lasting performance. The brushed base structure improves handling and maneuverability, and the factory-tuned Serial Finish ensures the ski is ready to perform straight out of the box.
Completing the package are Tailored Carbon Tips, engineered with precisely positioned carbon fibers to reduce swing weight, improve responsiveness, and enhance turn initiation. The result is a ski that feels lively, precise, and remarkably stable, providing confidence and excitement on every run.
