Playing outside, forging lasting friendships, learning more about a sport you love and, for those who have yet to try, getting started. That’s what you’ll find at the second edition of our Oberson backcountry event in collaboration with Mont-Édouard and MtnDju.

This is a gathering for mountain enthusiasts looking to improve their backcountry skills or learn about a new sport. Save the date, February 24! Why? Because it will be an immersive day, an adventure on Mont-Édouard's backcountry trails that will include workshops given by professional and experienced guides. There will be plenty of opportunities to expand your knowledge. Register now; there are only 100 spots available for this second edition! You will also receive an Oberson gift card worth half the cost of your registration! Lunch will be provided, prizes will be drawn, and the après-ski party will be the perfect time to share this unforgettable experience.

The ticket lets you participate in the event and includes equipment rental if you need it (skis, split board, bindings, boots and skins). On the day of the event, you will also receive a $50 Oberson gift card for your purchases in store or online after the event. The gift card will be delivered on site, the day of the event.

The ticket also includes the following:

-A chairlift ride to get to the start of the backcountry area

-A guide and a supervisor for the day (2:8 ratio)

Have you heard of Ski Saguenay? If you are a fan of secluded areas, far from the crowds and loaded with fresh snow, Ski Saguenay is your next destination. And that’s good! Helly Hansen invites you to kick off your off-piste ski weekend on Friday, February 23 with a guided day on the peaks of Ski Saguenay. This vast private domain offers two skiable areas to which you will have access for the day, in addition to having the opportunity to explore and discover the latest technological advances in Helly Hansen clothing. Several surprises await you in addition to living this unique off-piste skiing experience. So, are we starting the weekend early?

-To participate in this event, you must also be registered for La Conquête du Haute Route on Saturday.

-Required level: advanced. Off-piste skiing is a discipline that is practiced in a forest environment and on more or less uneven terrain. For these reasons, we require a minimum of skill from participants.
