This drink is distinguished by its fruity taste with a slight hint of honey. Its basic ingredient, honey, is a natural sugar that bees make from flower nectar. This drink is a very interesting mixture of glucose and fructose to support athletic performance. Honey for athletes:
Glucose and fructose use different intestinal transporters for their absorption. This mixture increases the carbohydrate absorption capacity and thus makes possible a higher carbohydrate ingestion per hour (up to 90g / h), which is beneficial for prolonged, intense exercise (eg: more than 2.5 h).
