Designed to ride the entire resort and score an A+ in the turning category, the K2 Almanac snowboard is writing the newest chapter in Volume Shift™ snowboards. Purpose-engineered to be a daily driver, this snowboard takes inspiration from models like the Party Platter and Excavator, and charts it’s own course. When choosing the Almanac, you’ll want to size down ~5cm, due to it’s wider than average outline (read: Volume Shift™) - so if you normally ride a 158cm snowboard, you’ll want to get your hands on the 153cm length for lapping your favorite run at the resort. When it comes to tech, the Almanac does not skimp. Camber under-foot with raised contact points in the tip and tail help make this snowboard comfortable riding the entire resort - enough snap for the feeling of energy in and out of the turn, and a fluid feel when transitioning from edge to edge.

Information
The Almanac also features an additional set of inserts for the front binding, so you can set your bindings back and enjoy a little extra float on the deep days.
- Volume Shift™ - We reduce swing weight and toe/heel drag by shifting surface area from the tip and tail to the waist of the snowboard. Downsize from 4-10 cm from your usual snowboard length.
- Sintered 4000 Base - Hard, fast, and durable, our Sintered Base material holds wax better than extruded materials increasing speed and glide.
- BAP™ Core - A tri-blend wood core harnesses the rebound, strength, and feel of sustainably harvested Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia timber species.
- Biax Glass - A fiberglass weave intersecting at 90º angles provides the proper torsional flexibility and strength.
- Carbon Backbone™ - A pre-cambered carbon inlay centered between the inserts specifically designed to add snap and pop to every ollie and takeoff.
- HYBRITECH™ Construction - Backed by years of rigorous testing, Hybritech is the most eco-friendly, lightest, and most durable snowboard construction on the market. Removing all excess plastic material in the tip and tail and adding a 3D capped edge to increase the bond strength of the fiberglass, decreasing the swing weight of the board, and reducing thousands of pounds of plastic needed during the manufacturing process is what makes Hybritech so revolutionary. Boards with Hybritech will spin faster, maneuver easier, and last longer than any other boards on the market.
