What up!I’m really excited to share my all-new pro model, the Current, with you. This board has been in the works for the past three seasons and started as soon as I joined the RIDE team. We developed the board from the ground up with a focus on flow, free riding, and fun. Since we didn’t rush the Current to market, we’ve been able to fine-tune it to be exactly what I have been looking for, a true dream board.Over the past few seasons, I’ve been quietly testing boards to get this thing to where it is today. Working with the RIDE engineers we went through about 50 prototypes dialing in shape, camber profile, side cut, stiffness, versatility, and everything else that goes into board building. To celebrate the launch RIDE has built 50 of the final prototypes to share as part of the prototyping process. These boards are fully ridable and are the final shape. To make them a little more special I’ve gone through and hand signed and numbered each one. 1 through 50.
