Lime Raspberry Sour – raspberry and lime sour beer 5 % - Vrooden Brewery, Granby, QC

Bière Simple Malt après-ski

It’s a beautiful warm summer day. Your Camelbak and water bottles are empty. High fives all around in the parking lot before getting down to serious business.

A summer bike ride – on the mountain or the road – makes you thirsty! After covering such great distances under the sun, opening a cold beer becomes essential. Nothing compares to a good old sour fruity beer to quench your thirst.

Vrooden Brewery is celebrating summer with the launch of their Lime Raspberry Sour. This brew, a collaboration with Espace Houblon boutiques, it’s exactly what you need after a long ride. Once the luxurious pink liquid hits your glass, you’ll feel the irresistible urge to dip your lips in it. Its strawberry daquiri like pink hazy colour, is topped with a delicately tinted foam. Its nose, an explosion of raspberry seeds, lime zest and banana, is a promising introduction for what comes next. Full bodied, it will fill your mouth with fine bubbles. Freshly pressed limes mingle with raspberry sorbet and eventually give way to a crisp acidity which lingers in the grand finale.

Refreshing, right? Always have a couple of Lime Raspberry Sour on hand, in a little cooler, it’s best enjoyed with your friends sitting on your camping chair, wearing bike shorts, after a good day of cycling. Cheers!

Thanks to the expert team from the Espace Houblon boutiques for the delicious suggestion!
