Bike Park Montcalm
Open since 2017, the mountain bike trails at the Montcalm ski resort are a must-ride for both its trail quality and affordable day passes. This season, Bike Park Montcalm has about twenty runs, including two pro lines that are accessible from the enduro climb or chairlift for all levels of riders. Bike Park Montcalm is a great place to get started in the sport or hone your abilities. The mountain opens only at the end of the season, usually starting mid-August, for as long as the weather holds.

Val St-Côme
There’s an exciting new attraction at Val St-Côme for summer 2024. The mountain’s brand-new bike park is already generating a lot of buzz! Featuring a detachable chairlift that carries three bikes, the resort already offers five runs, including a pro line that’s one of a kind in Quebec and several other trails that will be in development in the coming weeks. On site, you’ll find food service, a bike rental and repair shop, a bike wash station, and lodging options for all tastes and budgets. And if you arrive with a camper, the VanLife area will accommodate you for the weekend. Keep an eye out for all the new features this season. This new bike park is off to a promising start.

2. Mountain Biking in the Laurentians
MbPark
With its 200 metres of vertical drop, Mont Blanc ski resort’s brand-new bike park—MbPark—now ranks as the highest downhill mountain in the Laurentians. Opened in 2023, it boasts six technical, flowy downhill trails, including a pumptrack. What’s more, the MbPark area at the foot of the trails features a friendly bar and restaurant for your post-ride get-together. This new destination is already beloved by cyclists. Keep your eyes open for updates about new trails they’re building!

Sommet Saint-Sauveur Bike Park
Formerly managed by MSS Bike Park, Sommet Saint-Sauveur has taken the reins of this classic downhill venue in the Laurentians. Sprawling over the Versant Avila, the nine trails, which range in level from beginner to expert, offer long, thrilling descents. Sometimes flowy, sometimes technical, the trails let you work on different mountain bike skills.
Plus, the Sommets now offer private lessons to hone your abilities. Another new feature, bike camps for young people aged 8 to 17 are now available. The transition from MSS Bike Park to the Sommets will allow for investment in the long-term development and maintenance of the mountain’s trails.

3. Mountain Biking in Estrie
Bromont, Mountain of Experiences
As one of the biggest bike parks in Quebec, Bromont has four lifts and downhill trails for all levels. If you’re a fan of long descents, you’re in for a treat: fifty kilometres of jumps, drops, and technical and flow trails—in short, everything you need for a day of thrills. Less experienced riders can rent a bike on-site and enhance their skills during a coaching session with a certified instructor.
Here's what’s new at Bromont for the 2024 season:
- The soirées de vélo are back at Bromont! On Thursday evenings from May 23 to July 25, take the chairlifts until 8:00 p.m. and then head to the post-ride festivities at the Versant du Lac base camp.
- The Village Express has been improved to hold 6 bikes.
- Installation of a clutch system on the Express du Village to make unloading bikes easier.
- Easy trails have been improved to be more accessible to beginners.

Mont Sutton
Mont Sutton will particularly appeal to riders who want to get the most out of their day. This 46-kilometre enduro and cross-country network features a ski lift and four uphill trails that take you to the top.
The Mont Sutton trails run up and down the mountain through a magnificent forest. You’ll also find a high concentration of intermediate-level trails—50% to be exact—that are both technical and flowy. If you enjoy more challenging trails, try Skimo, Attache ta tuque or one of the mountain’s expert trails.

4. Mountain Biking in Charlevoix — Le Massif de Charlevoix
Perfect for a first bike park experience, Le Massif de Charlevoix features a superb network of trails overlooking the Saint Lawrence River. Designed to improve your skills and get you into the flow, the Massif de Charlevoix’s trails rack up 40 kilometres for all rider levels. With 23 trails, there’s definitely something for everyone. Two ski lifts, including the gondola, take you to the top so that you get the most out of your descents.
Here’s what’s new for the 2024 bike season at Le Massif de Charlevoix:
- The addition of electric bikes to the rental fleet
- The La Boréale and La Bouche du Lac Gauthier trails, located at the summit, are now accessible by mountain bike to explore more than 55 kilometres of trails. This development will expand the offering of family-friendly mountain bike trails.

5. Mountain Biking in Quebec City — Mont Saint-Anne
Steeped in its heritage of hosting UCI World Cups, Mont Saint-Anne remains a sure thing for thrills in Quebec. With 30 kilometres of downhill runs, the MSA team’s trails are known for their technical level, which will appeal to those who love exhilarating descents. This season, they are reworking the Vietnam trail to offer a flowy trail with jumps. And for those who prefer cross-country and enduro riding, Mont Saint-Anne offers a vast 130-kilometre network accessible to all rider levels. Nearby, the Mont Saint-Anne campground offers a woodsy bike-in bike-out experience.

6. Mountain Biking in the Outaouais
Camp Fortune
Are you into technical, old school trails? Ideal for more experienced cyclists, Camp Fortune’s trails will win over thrill seekers. You can explore twenty kilometres of trails using the chairlift, which runs from the end of June until early October, or by riding in the cross-country area. You’ll ride over rocks and roots and hit a few jumps along the way. Pure fun!

Centre Vorlage
The Centre Vorlage welcomes riders of all levels for its first bike park season. Located in Wakefield, the mountain offers 14 chairlift-served downhill trails and an enduro climb. With several intermediate trails, advanced trails and pro lines, the Centre Vorlage has something for every type of rider. Plus, you can go to the HUB bistro for your post-ride get-together. On Friday evenings, it even offers homemade pizzas! Be on the lookout for bike events organized by the mountain and the many other activities.

7. Mountain Biking in the Saguenay — Mont Bélu
If you’re in the Saguenay area, you should stop by Mont Bélu. Overlooking the Saguenay Fjord in the city of La Baie, Mont Bélu features six downhill trails and a T-bar. The view alone is worth the detour! The natural descents are unique and suitable for all levels. The lift only runs on Wednesdays and Sundays, but an uphill trail is open every day.
