2. Le Tré Carré — Val St-Côme, Lanaudière
The Lanaudière region is a true paradise for the outdoors. Whether you’re ripping down Val St-Côme’s new downhill mountain bike trails or completing a road bike loop, the Tré Carré microbrewery is a must-visit destination. In addition to its menu of beers with woodsy flavours (poured from an old piano!), the Tré Carré offers a menu of scrumptious eats.
Here, the bistro-style dishes are carefully prepared with local products, and naturally, some items are made with beer. The brewery is located in a century-old house with a lovely terrace for basking in the sun. You can even leave with a few cans for an evening by the campfire.
3. Broue Pub & Resto Trou du Diable — Shawinigan, Mauricie
The Mauricie region abounds in road biking options, and as the home of Mont SM, it’s also an excellent mountain biking destination. A post-ride stop at the renowned microbrewery Le Trou du Diable will quench your thirst. Featuring a large sunny terrace on charming Willow Street, the Trou du Diable pub and restaurant offers a varied beer menu, including some of the brewery’s classics, and a bistro-style food menu that will recharge your batteries after a day of riding.
4. La Souche — Limoilou and Stoneham, Quebec City Area

Whether you visit the Limoilou or Stoneham location, you’ll be charmed by the meticulous attention given to every morsel. The brewery offers a beer menu that will delight anyone’s palate. If you’ve never set foot there, it’s high time you did! Just a few pedal strokes from the village of St-André-de-Kamouraska, the Tête d’Allumette microbrewery offers its customers the chance to enjoy delicious Quebec beers while admiring the Saint Lawrence River and breathing in its salty air. On the menu, enchanting surroundings, tasty beers and locally made appetizers. You’ll definitely fall head over heels for this place!
6. Pit Caribou — Percé, Gaspésie
Who doesn’t love the Gaspé Peninsula with its sea and mountain landscapes, slower pace of life and gigantic playground for outdoor enthusiasts? After racking up your share of vertical gain, you’ll be thirsty for a post-ride brew. And the Pit Caribou microbrewery perfectly meets your need for refreshments. Born in the heart of Percée, Pit Caribou is a cozy spot where you can drink, chat and sample local products.
The brewery also features a terrace at Anse-à-Beaufils, which offers eight beers on tap and a food truck. You can even bring your own fare. And if you don’t plan to visit the Gaspé Peninsula, the pub on Rachel Street East in Montreal will give you a Gaspesian experience in the city!
7. Messorem — Montreal
Right by the Lachine Canal, the Messorem brewery is an integral part of Montreal’s cycling community. Ready to slake the thirst of all those who’ve eaten up the kilometres, the brewery offers a beer menu for every taste, including smoothie sours, lagers and all kinds of IPAs. Not to mention their famous slush, which hits the spot after a day in the blazing sun. Messorem’s sizeable terrace has an industrial esthetic and colourful picnic tables perfect for long chats over a good pint. Shall we pay them a visit? I'm in! 8. Brasserie Dunham — Dunham, Eastern Townships
An enchanting setting and quality products—that’s what describes the Brasserie Dunham. Located in . . . (drum roll please!) Dunham, the brewery has a lovely beer garden that welcomes cyclists with nearly twenty beers on tap. The brasserie’s kitchen offers a menu of hearty burgers, decadent sandwiches, salads and shareable dishes. In addition, if you want to stay longer and more fully explore the menu, the BOHO Dunham Hotel is right above the brewery.
