And while they celebrate with their buddies, you can make the most of the snowy slopes at Les Sommets Saint-Sauveur and the lively après-ski scene! Plus, on March 8, Les Sommets will host the Axis Jr Games, a competition where young snowboarders and freestyle skiers get a one-of-a-kind experience, along with the Coupe Olympia, which combines competition and a festive atmosphere. Take the chance to cheer on both the young and the young at heart if you’re at the resort.
2. La Montagne en feu – Mont-Édouard, L’Anse St-Jean
Why not take some extra time and drive a few hours further up North to the beautiful Saguenay region? Not only does Mont-Édouard boast incredible snow conditions, it offers activities for everyone in the family during school break. Whether your family loves cross-country skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing, or alpine skiing, you’re in for a magical, unforgettable experience.
Enjoy some marshmallows by the fire in the relaxation area while your little ones are having fun sliding. Make the most of your visit by watching or taking part in La Déjantée, a friendly race down trail #9 on a fat bike or mountain bike that’s perfect for thrill seekers! 3. Spring Break – Bromont, Montagne d’expériences, Bromont
With its 7 summits, Bromont offers the widest night skiing terrain in America. A well-known destination in Quebec, Bromont doesn’t take it easy during spring break! From March 1 to 9, a wide array of activities is on the agenda. Mascots Grizzly and Lola will welcome kids with free play, followed by a treasure hunt and mini-Olympic games. Fun guaranteed! For the older crowd, après-ski shows are the perfect way to cap off a day on the slopes in style. A diverse lineup of performances is scheduled for spring break. It's sure to be a spring break to remember!
4. Spring Break in Mont Sutton – Mont Sutton, Sutton
At Mont Sutton, the fun stretches out over four weeks. In fact, our southern and western neighbours’ various spring break weeks bring plenty of visitors. Spring Break at Mont Sutton will offer full of activities for both young and old. Parents will be delighted to try the newest skis during demo days, while the little ones will enjoy a full day of activities! The mountain will feature daily family-friendly experiences from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., a ski week camp, mountain sculptures, and après-ski at Bar Le Tucker with live music. There will be something to entertain the whole family!
5. Spring Break 2020 at Massif de Charlevoix – Le Massif de Charlevoix, Petite-Rivière-Saint-François
From February 29 to March 8, le Massif de Charlevoix will offer a whole bunch of activities to keep the young shredders busy! They're sure to have a blast with the Mini activities, including the Mini-guide, who will introduce them to mountain guides’ important work, the Mini-backcountry which will allow kids to develop their backcountry skills, and Mini-snowpark, which will teach them how to send it in the snow park under expert supervision.
You little ones will also have the opportunity to visit a snowcat, learn some first-aid skills, and try their hand at luging in an obstacle course. They can also let their imaginations wander as they gather around a fire in the woods to hear the legend of Igor the mascot and his family. What’s in it for you? The Le Massif de Charlevoix's legendary trails and glades, followed by themed après-ski, such as the Mardi Gras and Hip-Hop events, to wrap up your long days out in the cold.
6. La Station touristique Pin Rouge
Heading to the beautiful Gaspé Peninsula during spring break? That’s good news since the Station touristique Pin Rouge has a host of activities planned, each one more fun than the last. The recreational tourism resort offers chalet rentals for out-of-town visitors, and equipment rentals, including fat bikes, skis, and snowboards. It also features snow tubing. The resort has come up with a unique way of bringing the festivities together: get out your best costumes because on March 1, it’s Skier’s Halloween! To keep the fun going, Station touristique Pin Rouge will hold après-ski every day during spring break with specially themed events and entertainment.
