Mont Sainte-Anne ski resort is a must-ski during the downhill ski season. The mountain has 71 runs on three mountainsides. The resort is open in the evening thanks to the 19 lit runs that thrill local enthusiasts.
In addition, Mont Sainte-Anne has developed alpine touring on-site with five uphill trails with a total length of 18.3 km that lead to the mountaintop. Four of them are located on the south face of the mountain, and one is on the north face.

2. Skiing in Estrie: Bromont
Thanks to seven skiable mountainsides, Bromont ski resort has earned a place in the hearts of snow sports enthusiasts. From atop its 550 metres, the mountain offers 143 runs—104 of which are lit for night skiing—plus about 30 glades.

3. Skiing in Vermont: Jay Peak
Beautiful Jay Peak ski resort is well known to Quebecers! Just an hour and a half from Montreal, it enjoys an outstanding annual snowfall that makes it one of Vermont’s best ski areas. Moreover, Jay Peak is a paradise for glade skiing.

4. Skiing in the Laurentians: Mont Blanc
A superb, family-oriented resort located in the Laurentians. Mont Blanc ski resort is a real gem of the North. With 43 runs, glades and two snow parks, the mountain appeals to all ski and snowboard enthusiasts.
For the highest-level expert skiers, Mont Blanc’s northern summit offers many black and double black runs where you can leave your mark. A bit less busy than Mont-Tremblant farther north, Mont Blanc has wonderful snow conditions.

6. Skiing in Alberta: Nakiska
Much less known than its neighbours, such as Sunshine Village and Lake Louise, Nakiska Ski Area is in the beautiful Kananaskis Valley. Surrounded by wild mountains, it’s the closest ski area to Calgary but also near Canmore and Banff. The area was built for the alpine events of the 1988 Calgary Olympics.
This Canadian ski resort is ideal for family skiing in a magnificent setting. It’s also the most accessible in the Rockies thanks to its mostly green and blue runs. That’s why Nakiska is a great place to get the hang of skiing in Western Canada’s huge mountains. The Monster Glades have many options for tree skiing.
