Who are on-piste skis for?
Conditions on ski runs can quickly change over the course of the day. If you’re the kind of person who skis from first to last chair, you know what we’re talking about. Atomic’s Q line was designed to offer seasoned downhill skiers versatile skis that perform well in a wide variety of on-piste conditions.
The Redster Q and Cloud Q alpine ski family is available in several waist widths, different constructions, and varied flexes. That means they work for many skill levels, from beginner to expert.
Why buy Redster Q and Cloud Q skis?
You may think of on-piste skis as being heavier. However, the Redster Q skis for men and Cloud Q skis for women both have one advantage: their lightness and tremendous versatility on the slopes. This aspect of their construction makes them easier to maneuver in a variety of conditions. Women in particular will appreciate the Cloud Q family’s low weight.
In addition, Atomic Redster Q and Cloud Q offer waist widths up to 85 mm for men and 83 mm for women. This width makes for a more versatile ski that adapts to conditions that vary over time.
Atomic Technologies for Alpine Skis: Revoshock
This technology, which is exclusive to Atomic, dampens vibrations during descents and redistributes that energy to the boot, giving the ski a much more dynamic pop. Revoshock technology is designed with five modules at the front of the ski and an elastomer that distributes stored energy.
Revoshock technology can either be built with acrylic (Revoshock C), which is a bit more flexible, or metal (Revoshock S), which gives the ski more stiffness.
