The choice of our ski equipment and accessories is crucial; they impact the pleasure we will have to practice our sport.

Of course, we can always own different skis for different types of terrains and conditions. For my part, I’ve always believed that a good skier can have fun with one versatile ski at all times. I’ve always been looking for a model that allows me to have the best experience every run without compromise.

Versatile Freeride Skis

I discovered, a few seasons ago, the Blackops line of freeride skis from Rossignol. Whether it's the men's Holy Shred, Sender, or Escaper, they all have good width at the waist, between 94 mm and 104 mm and are ultra-versatile. They are the perfect combination of agility, versatility, and flexibility to provide just as much fun skiing the winding glades, the powder bowls of Western Canada, or the groomed slalom runs. With the Blackops, I know that no matter what conditions I find on the mountain, I'll get the most of my runs.

The Blackops line of freeride skis for men and women is also a perfect choice for alpine touring. The Escaper is a lightweight ski, perfect for efficient climbing and easy to maneuver on the way down. Because maximizing the descent makes sense when you get to the top with climbing skins rather than a chairlift. All the more reason to count on the superior versatility of this ski!

Among the Blackops collection for women, the Stargazer ski offers the same level of maneuverability in both powder and groomed trails. This freeride ski provides unparalleled performance and the lightness needed for alpine touring.

Julien Heon’s Favourites

Rossignol Blackops Sender 178 cm – My weapon of choice for Western Canada’s backcountry as well as groomers with the family or Quebec glades.

Rossignol AllTrack Pro 130GW boots – Because it combines lightness, comfort, performance, and it's compatible with touring bindings.

Rossignol Après-Ski boot – Its name speaks for itself; it's the perfect boot to keep you warm and stylish before and after a day on the slopes.

Emma’s Favourite

Rossignol Experience Pro + Kid skis – Because they are versatile, perfect for learning and improving quickly. Also, the little ones love that they feature the same design and colours as the adult model!
