2. Mountain bike protective gear
Whether he’s a bike park, cross-country or enduro enthusiast, he needs some protective gear! First of all, for thrill-seeking dads, a protection vest is a must. 5. Bike shorts
This is definitely the piece of clothing to invest in! Bike shorts or bib shorts (i.e., shorts with suspenders) play a crucial role in his comfort, especially on long rides.
Bike shorts have a chamois pad that dampens vibrations on the saddle, which reduces discomfort. It’s important to check the pad’s density, which isn’t the same as the thickness but rather its ability to maintain its shape under the body’s weight. Your dad doesn’t already have bike sunglasses? This is a great time to give him a pair. Whether for road or mountain biking, bike sunglasses protect the eyes from sunlight, branches, debris and dust.
